Illustrator: Cocopit

{BIOGRAPHY}

In 2004 Cocopit moved to London to set up getconfused - a company which offers consultancy and creative solutions to clients from all around the world. She began producing illustrations as a favour to friends in the fashion industry who needed them for lookbooks, magazines and websites. She find inspiration in a wide variety of places. Living between Paris and London I feel at ease with the visual landscapes of both cities. As art and fashion capitals, they are a byword for innovation, creativity and metropolitan edge.
Cocopit tend to start my work by experimenting with old-school processes such as painting, drawing and ceramics, before designing the final image digitally.She like to mix several techniques but aim for restraint and minimalism in the finished work as I like the results achieved from combining these two approaches.

{Nani word} Remember how I am obsessed with fashion, so I don't have anything to say how I love her work.

{Statement in her Devianart}
My motif is children whose ages are around 10 to 15 years old.Their attempt to adjust themselves to the modern environment in our time seems to be a hard battle to me. Also, they are living in an unstable time between being a child and a being an adult. I pick up their warped attitude or feeling toward the outer world and express it through their physical body which has not been balanced yet. Through their unstable presence, I can express deep feelings I have inside, such as grief, alienation, and love. I believe that adults who were once a child feel compassion with the children I paint.

{Paper Art: Petter Callesen}

Y BIOGRAPHY Y

Lately Petter Callesen have worked almost exclusively with white paper in different objects, paper cuts, installations and performances. A large part of his work is made from A4 sheets of paper. It is probably the most common and consumed media used for carrying information today. This is why they rarely notice the actual materiality of the A4 paper. By taking away all the information and starting from scratch using the blank white A4 paper sheet for my creations, I feel I have found a material that we are all able to relate to, and at the same time the A4 paper sheet is neutral and open to fill with different meaning. The thin white paper gives the paper sculptures a frailty that underlines the tragic and romantic theme of my works.

{Painter: Audrey Kawasaki}

Y BIOGRAPHY Y

The themes in Audrey Kawasaki's work are contradictions within themselves. Her work is both innocent and erotic. Each subject is attractive yet disturbing. Audrey's precise technical style is at once influenced by both manga comics and Art Nouveau. Her sharp graphic imagery is combined with the natural grain of the wood panels she paints on, bringing an unexpected warmth to enigmatic subject matter.

{Nani word} The painting of Audrey Kawasaki show the dramatic-melancholic expression of beautiful girl and she using natural, animal and environment element around the girls.
